As a special educator, you will be part of the student health team (EHT) together with a counselor, school nurse, study and career counselor, and principal.

You will work closely with teachers to develop the school's special educational competence and support students in need. Your work includes leading development projects, managing documentation such as educational investigations and action plans, and serving as an advisor on educational issues at various levels within the organization.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work.
  • Has the tools needed to meet students, guardians, and educators in a communicative and trustworthy manner.
  • Has a coaching approach and is structured and flexible.
  • Works long-term, sets goals, tests, and evaluates together with colleagues.

Qualifications

A degree from a special education program is an advantage. Experience in teaching vocational programs/apprenticeships is an advantage. Good knowledge of behaviors related to NPF/AST is an advantage. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
